V.Murali has been appointed as Director of the Press Institute of India with effect from April 3, 2008. He has more than five decades of experience in the newspaper field. He is also the Director of the Research Institute for Newspaper Development (RIND) since twelve years.
Office of PII
The office of the Press Institute of India has been shifted to Chennai from May 16, 2008 and is housed in the RIND premises.
